Having experience with other Beurer products, when we were in need of a food scale to make my heart healthy diet, I checked out the Beurer catalog to see what was available. The KS-19 kitchen scale is made of glass, is about the size of a 5 X 7 photo and is the most stylish scale I have ever seen. It is simple to use for weighing ingredients and the tare weight is nearly automatic. With an 11lb capacity, it is more than adequate to keep my heart healthy. It also changes instantly from metric to english, liquid to solid. Wipes clean with a damp cloth and a dry towel. This unit should last forever!
