Lower Back TENS Support Belt, EM38

Relieves lower back pain due to muscle tension. Would be easier to use if there was a physical tab that hung down and could be felt by the user to align with the spine. The instructions say to keep the electrodes on either side of the spine but the logo position is difficult to feel in relation to your spine. Just to be sure I placed it correctly, I asked my wife to visually confirm. Also, the 3-phase program doesn't have a warning indication for the increased ramp-up in intensity, which always caused me to have a startling reaction and may have contributed to additional muscle pain. Overall, the EM38 is effective in relieving the pain but I had to use it at the full strength setting twice a day for five days. During this time, the TENS unit functioned properly and without issue. I have other TENS units that instruct the user not to use it more than twice a day. I read the instructions twice but didn't find any such warnings about daily repeated use. Just to be safe, I limited using it to twice a day without warnings from Beurer to do so.

I ordered this per my therapist. I don't have assistance to put on other types of tens that have the stick on pads. This belt fits great and is easy to use. Works well, good price compared to other similar items. I haven't used it enough yet, so don't know of any flaws.

This belt eliminates all the wires and time consuming hook-up of our old TENS unit. It was easy to adjust the intensity.

The shipping took longer than I expected. When the belt arrived it was packaged well. Instructions and cautions were included. The belt is comfortable and is easy to use. It seems like the components are durable. Best of alll, it is helping my back.
