Digital Kitchen Scale for Food, KS34

I originally bought this from Chewy as it was advertised as a dog and cat food scale, and I wanted to weigh my cat's food to make sure they get the same amount of food for every meal to maintain their healthy weight. It has served its purpose well so far, and I can use it in the kitchen as well for measuring heavier ingredients for recipes. It's a nice size and works well for my purposes.

Love using my new kitchen scale. I find that in working in grams, the scale seems to be a little delayed in calculating added ingredients, which is difficult to scoop out to get the correct weight, especially when using the tare, which I love. For some reason, I thought the scale was made in Germany or Sweden, and to my disappointment after receiving my purchase realized it was made in China. Have to tell you, I researched many scales to try to find one not made in China. All and All it is a nice scale, just have to remember to add ingredients just a little slower. SS

This is the first time I use a scale in the kitchen, this purchase has changed my life! No more conversions, and unnecessary measurements, a simple way to cook... especially desserts! Works as a charm. :)

The scale is large enough to see the readout while food is on the scale. It will also hold the reading when you remove your item being weighed.
