Very disappointing

If you've used a behind-the-ear hearing product, this seems a lot better at first because it's about the same weight but less cumbersome. But that's the only positive.
The power switch and volume switch are both operated by pressing -- not a switch, nor a dial. So you have to remember which is which. Changing the volume requires pressing repeatedly until the right level for your needs. If you need to turn down the volume, you have to press and make it louder first until it cycles down to the lower settings again.
The sound is just weird, like being in a tunnel. I tried to put up with it long enough to evaluate during conversation, and watching TV. Yes, it is louder but it's unpleasant and odd.
The clincher is that doing these mild activities, they can fall out easily. They feel secure at first, but if you just bump your ear or brush against it in any way, it falls out. Note that it is smooth and compact, perfect to slip under a seat cushion, and dark grey, the perfect color to get lost.
Imagine trying to put on a health mask with loops behind your ears, or a hat in winter, or anything similar. I would not trust these to stay put.
I basically gave up on them within an hour of good faith effort. I did enough experimenting to conclude that no amount of adjusting or tweaking could address the problems.
I should have returned them but I'd lost all patience and didn't want to bother.

althouh the aid seems very well made and is as stated in the ad it
doesn't work for me, I can't stand something in my ear. We are glad
we had not spent thousands of dollars to find out I can't abide any
device in my ears. Do you want it back or should I just dispose of it?
I do not want my money back, the hearing aid is not at fault.

The product works well but I should of asked if this has noise cancelation built in it but found out it does not, other than that I just use it when necessary. Thank you...
