Bulb only lasted 3 months

The original halogen bulb that came in my lamp lasted 2 years, and I used it multiple times a day, every day. With the same amount of use, this bulb burned out in just 3 months. At $20 for 3 months of use, I feel ripped off. I feel even more duped as customer service cannot explain to me how this $20 halogen bulb is any different from the $5 halogen bulbs sold by hardware stores everywhere. I am really disappointed in this purchase and the overall customer service I have received on my last couple purchases from this website. These used to be quality products with good service and that no longer seems to be the case.
